If I Could Only Own 5 Hair Products, This Would Be Them
I am absolutely not a product junkie. When I find something I like, it becomes a ride or die. I definitely have other products I love and use but this list is kind of like, “if I was stranded on a desert island and could only bring 5 hair products with me”, these would be what I would choose. Okay, thats not true, it would probably be different depending on what the climate and weather is like on the island, but anyways, you get the point, right?
UNITE WEEKENDER
everyone should have a high quality clarifying shampoo in their shower. I recommend using it once a month to help remove any product buildup, or stubborn minerals off your hair. Its best to not use it right after getting your done, but the weekender shampoo is a gentle enough for chemically treated hair, color hair, and extensions.
2. THE FOUNDATION
Think of the foundation as a primer for your hair. It is a base styling product that is great for every hair type. It has heat protection and helps give body and hold to your hair but is still super light weight. I put this in my hair after I wash it.
3. GOLDIELOCKS SERUM
If you are prone to dry hair or live in a dry climate like I do, you have to be using a serum regularly, but not all serums are created equal. This serum is great for frizz and preventing breakage. It gives your hair the perfect amount of hydration and nourishment without making your hair feel greasy.
4. DRY TEXTURE SPRAY
Mr. Smith dry texture spray made my list because it smells so damn good has the perfect amount of hold for curls or waves and love using it on freshly washed hair to get that second day hold without it feeling dirty. If you are a client in my chair, chances are you I have use this on you because it is versatile for every hair type.
5. REVERIE SCALP TONIC
I love this oil so many reasons which is why its on my top 5 list. Its great for a dry itchy, or flaky scalp and is formulated with essential oils to nourish your scalp and restore balance to your scalp. I love applying this all over my scalp the night before washing.
