5 Tips For Styling Your Halo
USE AN EXTENSION HOLDER
You can always use a pant hanger, but I find using an extension holder holds the halo more securely especially if you are blowdrying, using a flat iron, or doing any kind of styling that will kind of pull on the halo.
LET IT AIR DRY
If possible let your halo air dry completely but if not, let it air dry as long as possible. That way you are putting less heat and it is just easier! If you purchase your halo from me, your halo will air dry with a nice loose wave which is great to wear it just like that, or if you are wanting a more smooth style, I recommend taking your blowdryer and brush and smoothing it out before using a curling iron or flat iron.
USE A HEAT PROTECTANT
This is super important and sometimes easy to forget simply because its not your real hair. However the halos I carry are 100% human hair which means they will style and blend in really well with you natural hair, but that also means that they can get damaged or dry just like your own hair. I like to use the halo couture silk spritz right before heat styling because it protects and also helps your halo hold its style for longer.
DIVIDE IT IN HALF
It can feel overwhelming or just awkward to style a halo but I have found that dividing it in to half from top to bottom helps create more movement and gives you more control when putting curls or smoothing your halo.
APPLY A SERUM
You should be applying the halo couture serum on your halo every time you wear it. So it goes without saying that the best way to finish off styling your halo is applying a pea size amount. I spread it in my hands and work it through the entire halo from the tips to the roots.
